Celebrate Our Legacy • Sustain Our Future
20 Years of Serving the Community
In 1998, Eileen Saffran, our Founder and CEO had the 20/20 vision to create a place that would provide support free of charge to individuals and families coping with the impact of cancer in their lives. A place that would help those on the journey cope physically, emotionally and spiritually. The place she dreamed of became The Gathering Place.
For 20 years, we have been providing programs and services to help families face cancer and embrace life. Over 45,000 children, teens and adults have walked through the doors of The Gathering Place in Beachwood and Westlake to receive services that help heal the body, the mind and the spirit.
Eileen's dream would not have been possible without the very generous support of our caring community of donors and volunteers. As we honor Eileen's vision and our 20 years of service, we invite you to join us in celebrating our legacy. To ensure that we can continue to serve, we call on you to help us sustain our future.

Caring CommunityThe Gathering Place is here for anyone currently coping with the impact of cancer in their lives. We meet people where they are when they walk through our doors. Our goal is to help meet their needs throughout their cancer journey; at time of diagnosis, during treatment and life after cancer treatment.
Celebrate Our Legacy
Sustain Our FutureThe Gathering Place has been able to provide its programs and services free of charge since opening our doors in 2000. This is due to the generosity of our caring community. As we celebrate 20 years of serving the community, we invite you to be a part of our future by making a donation today. Your support helps to ensure that we are here to serve for the next 20 years.
