Good nutrition and movement are important for all of our participants. It's not only imprvoed your quality of life, but it can also help reduce recurrence and help mange side effects from certain cancer treatment.

GRIEF LOSS
The death of a loved one can bring about emotional, social, spiritual and physical challenges. Our support groups for adults and families are created to help cope with the impact of grief. In addition to support groups, The Gathering Place provides one-to-one support for adults as well as teens and children.

CHILDREN, TEEN & FAMILY

Children, Teen and Family Program at The Gathering Place is comprehensive and designed to meet the needs of children and teens living with cancer. Family-centered programs provide age-appropriate support and psycho-educational activities provided for the whole family.

YOUNG ADULTS

We provide a confidential, judgement-free zone for our young adult (YA) participants. Our YA support group helps reduce stress by being socials with people who understand the cancer journey, sharing experiences and learning coping strategies and techniques to help manage stress.
