Yoga with Lisa Thiel is a gentle, mind-body practice designed to empower participants to take an active role in managing their care and long-term health. The classes include physical postures and movement to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, balance and circulation. Breathing practices are used for better respiration, while mediation and other relaxation techniques are used to help manage stress and anxiety to enhance well-being. Each class offers modifications to meet fluctuations in physical ability and energy level throughout the cancer journey. Different positions (in chairs, on the floor and standing) and the use of props are encouraged to meet individual needs. Instructor: Lisa Thiel, MA, E-RYT500

Exercise class that builds on balance, stability and body awareness.
Balance for Improved Function stresses simple, functional movements, allowing participants to move more efficiently and decrease fall risks. The focus is on building up core stability and balance simultaneously, while at the same time creating a better sense of body awareness.
You may face eating issues during or after cancer treatment which can make maintaining a good nutrition status challenging. This discussion will help guide you through tips and ideas on how to manage treatment side effects so that you can nourish your body properly. Presenter: Stephanie Hopkins, MS, RDN, LD
Join the fun and learn the basics of dragon boating, a fun team sport for anyone in treatment, finished with treatment or caregivers. No experience required. QiGong-Tai Chi integrates physical exercises, breathing techniques and mindfulness into one practice.
QiGong-Tai Chi is a holistic health practice integrating a sequence of gentle movements, breathing techniques, acupressure self-massage, and mindfulness.The classes are designed to reduce stress and increase vitality, improve flexibility, balance and circulation, and strengthen muscles.
