Our monthly support group is a place for others sharing a similar gynecological or reproductive cancer experience. This group discusses available treatment options and experiences, plus how to manage side effects including fatigue, menopausal symptoms, neuropathy, changes in weight, body image, sexual health, and benefits of a pelvic floor specialist. Monthly support group for women diagnosed with gynecological cancers (non-ovarian). This support group provides a safe space for women to talk about their diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, side effects, late effects and related thoughts and emotions. Each person's cancer story is different. It can be healing to learn from others, to ask questions and to share ways they have coped. Facilitator: Andrea Sonnie, LISW-S, OSW-C
This support group takes place every other month and led by our licensed social worker, Mary Fisher-Bornstein. As a participant navigates their treatment, this group provides a space where people can share similar experiences, ways of coping and hear about great resources from professionals.
