Food can be used as a tool to nourish your body during and after cancer treatment. Whether you meet one-on-one with a registered dietitian or join a cooking class, we’ll help you improve and maintain healthier eating habits with balanced and nutritious meals you’ll love!
Staying physically active before, during and after treatment can greatly improve physical and mental health. Those who were not active before their cancer diagnosis can safely and successfully participate in our exercise programs. Join an exercise class to maintain and build your strength, balance, endurance and flexibility. Find a class that’s right for you after completing a Health & Fitness screening with our trainer.

Zumba Gold® takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active, older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Fridays, 12:30-1:00pm
Restorative Motion is an entry level movement program focusing on proper posture, alignment and body symmetry. This class has a slow-flow, yoga-based format that can help participants ease tension, relaxing both the mind and body. The large majority of all exercises can be done in a seated position, while there are time which participants, if possible, will stand or lie down.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Yoga is a gentle, mind-body practice designed to empower participants to take an active role in managing their care and long-term health. The classes include physical postures and movement to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, balance and circulation. Breathing practices are used for better respiration, while mediation and other relaxation techniques are used to help manage stress and anxiety to enhance well-being. Each class offers modifications to meet fluctuations in physical ability and energy level throughout the cancer journey. Different positions (in chairs, on the floor and standing) and the use of props are encouraged to meet individual needs.

QiGong-Tai Chi integrates physical exercises, breathing techniques and mindfulness into one practice.
QiGong-Tai Chi is a holistic health practice integrating a sequence of gentle movements, breathing techniques, acupressure self-massage, and mindfulness. The classes are designed to reduce stress and increase vitality, improve flexibility, balance and circulation, and strengthen muscles. QiGong-Tai Chi can be done sitting or standing and is easily modified and adapted for all abilities and fitness levels. Instructor: Jeannie Koran

The 'core' is made up of muscles that are responsible for proper posture, efficient functional movement, balance and stability. Learn about the muscle groups that make up and control your core. Facilitator: Stephen Cerne, BS, NSCA-CPT, ACSM/ACS-CET
Sign up for an open gym time to come and workout on your own. Participants must first attend an orientation and complete a health and fitness screening. This program is limited to 6 participants per hour.
This hour of HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) will help prepare you for the Dragon Boat season as you work on your cardiovascular endurance and full body strength! Have fun getting to know other participants on the Dragon Boat team during this off-season training session! Held at TGP East Thursdays, 6:30-7:30pm.

This is a fun, chair-based dance fitness class with the goal of keeping participants mobile and remaining progressive in daily function and/or recovery. Some benefits of Chair One Fitness include improved posture, strengthening of shoulders, lubrication of knee joints, and increasing flexibility.
Mondays & Thursdays, 6:30-7:15pm
This is a HIIT style full body workout utilizing dumbbells and body weight as participants are taken through exercises targeting their upper and lower body followed by balance and core based movements.
Held at TGP West on Tuesdays, 12:00-12:45pm
This circuit-based class will touch on improving balance, strength, and coordination while utilizing different exercise equipment included BOSU balls, weighted balls, dumbbells, weighted bars, balance pads, and agility ladders.

Exercise is rooted in function and how you apply it to everyday activities. Proper form and mechanics lead to more mindful, effective, efficient, and functional movement. To address function, this program combines simple strength, endurance, core, balance, and flexibility exercises. Held virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays and at our Wellness Center on Thursdays.
Thursdays, 12:00-12:45pm
This is a strength-based class but will help improve balance, coordination, and endurance as well. Sandy will educate, review proper form, and go over benefits of specific exercises throughout the class. We will utilize dumbbell and bodyweight exercises through the 45 minute workout.
Line dancing is a fun, energetic class where you'll learn choreographed routines set to popular country, pop. or rock music. This class is great for all skill levels as the moves are broken down step by step. It's a fantastic way to improve coordinationi and boost fitness. No partner is required - just bring your enthusiasm and a pair of comfortable shoes. Presenter: Beth Laraway, ARAA
