Functional Movement

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 12:00-12:45pm

Exercise is rooted in function and how you apply it to everyday activities. Proper form and mechanics lead to more mindful, effective, efficient, and functional movement. To address function, this program combines simple strength, endurance, core, balance, and flexibility exercises. Held virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays and at our Wellness Center on Thursdays.

Please consult your physician before beginning this, or any exercise program. As with any exercise program, if at any point you begin to feel faint, dizzy or have physical discomfort, you should stop immediately. Information is for educational purposes only.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for all exercise and movement classes will close 24 hours prior to the start of class to ensure all our participants have completed their one-time Health & Fitness screening with a staff member from The Gathering Place.
