Young Professional Rising Leaders

The Rising Leaders Council is a remarkable group of young professionals committed to the mission of The Gathering Place. They harness their talent and passion to become the organization’s next generation of leaders through fundraising, friend-raising, and volunteering.

Their fundraising initiatives and events raise more than $25,000 annually in support of The Gathering Place’s programs and services offered free of charge to those impacted by cancer.

Objectives of the Rising Leaders Council are:

• Partner with The Gathering Place to engage and attract the next generation of leaders to support the organization

• Plan and host a signature fundraising event and sports-related fundraisers that will provide financial support for the organization

• Volunteer and participate in The Gathering Place's special events

• Raise awareness about The Gathering Place in the community
