Grief & Loss

The death of a loved one can bring about emotional, social, spiritual and physical challenges. Our support groups for adults and families are created to help cope with the impact of grief. In addition to support groups, The Gathering Place provides one-to-one support for adults as well as teens and children. Our yoga, tai chi and qi gong classes or massage, Reiki and reflexology can be helpful tools in managing the stress and anxiety that can be a part of the grieving process. Our lending library has a number of books and cds that can also be helpful resources.

Grief Support Groups 

Group for adults who have experienced the recent death of a loved one.
TGP East: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8:00pm
TGP West: 2nd Tuesday, 2:00-3:30pm and 4th Tuesday: 6:30-8:00pm





Grief: When will it End?

Group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one more than a year ago.

TGP East: 3rd Wednesday each month, 11:00am-12:30pm
