Art, Music & Meditation has been shown to reduce pain and anxiety for those diagnosed with cancer. We encourage participants to incorporate the arts into their care for healing to take place on all levels.
Narrative medicine in cancer care uses literary arts (i.e., poetry, film, photography) to support cancer patients and caregivers. Open to anyone impacted by cancer interested in learning more about narrative medicine. No creative writing experience required; all materials provided. Facilitator: Whitney Hadley MA, MSW, LSW.
