The “New American Plate” is the recommended eating model by the American Institute for Cancer Research. The New American Plate is made up of 2/3 plant foods and 1/3 animal protein. In this cooking class, learn about a plant-based or plant-forward lifestyle and how to create side dishes to share as new recipes in the season of Thanksgiving and other holiday gatherings. Exercise

QiGong-Tai Chi integrates physical exercises, breathing techniques and mindfulness into one practice.

QiGong-Tai Chi is a holistic health practice integrating a sequence of gentle movements, breathing techniques, acupressure self-massage, and mindfulness.The classes are designed to reduce stress and increase vitality, improve flexibility, balance and circulation, and strengthen muscles. QiGong-Tai Chi can be done sitting or standing and is easily modified and adapted for all abilities and fitness levels. Instructor: Jeannie Koran
