Nutrition

Whether you like sweet or savory, there tends to be something for everyone at brunch! This hybrid meal is great any time of day – whether a traditional weekend midmorning or using brunch food for a satisfying and easy weeknight dinner. Learn how to boost the nutrition of your brunch meals in this hands-on cooking class. Presenter: Stephanie Hopkins, MS, RDN, LD

Exercise

Sign up for an open gym time to come and workout on your own. Participants must first attend an orientation and complete a health and fitness screening. This program is limited to 6 participants per hour.

Cancer Specific Support Groups

Monthly support group for people with oral, head and neck cancer. Meets the third Wednesday of every month, 3:30-4:30pm. Facilitator: Brittani Davis, MA, LPCC-S, LICDC

Monthly virtual support group to support women with ovarian cancer and to provide a space to share feelings, experiences and resources. Meets the third Wednesday of every month, 2:00-3:30pm. Facilitator: Susan Marinac, MSSA, LISW-S

Monthly virtual support group for people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Meets the fourth Wednesday of every month, 3:30-4:30pm. Facilitator: Sydney Roberts, MA, NCC, LPC, CPPN

Children, Teen & Family

Group for parents of children who have an adult family member with cancer. Allows for interaction with others who understand the challenges of raising children and navigating cancer within the family. Facilitator: Whitney Hadley, MA, MSW, LSW, OSW-C

QiGong-Tai Chi integrates physical exercises, breathing techniques and mindfulness into one practice.

QiGong-Tai Chi is a holistic health practice integrating a sequence of gentle movements, breathing techniques, acupressure self-massage, and mindfulness. The classes are designed to reduce stress and increase vitality, improve flexibility, balance and circulation, and strengthen muscles. QiGong-Tai Chi can be done sitting or standing and is easily modified and adapted for all abilities and fitness levels. Instructor: Jeannie Koran
